GL Exceptions

Unmapped postings that block the day-close

What are GL Exceptions?
When a transaction posts to an account that has no GL mapping, the amount is parked as an exception instead of silently vanishing. Each one is a gap in the posting configuration and blocks the day-close until an admin adds the missing mapping. A clean set of books has none.
